Kehilat Shalom at a Glance
Kehilat Shalom ("Community of Peace"), founded in 1971 as an egalitarian Conservative synagogue, is much more than a beautiful building or place of worship; it is a warm, welcoming and engaged community where friends truly become family. All are welcome - there is a place for people of all different Jewish backgrounds, interfaith families and those who choose to convert. Our community has something for everyone, from meaningful worship services to life-long Jewish learning, social action and events that bring people together for fun, inspiration and celebration.
