USY (Grades 9-12)

USY is the perfect place for Kehilat Shalom’s high school students to participate in social, religious, and community service activities, all while gaining valuable leadership experience and having lots of fun! In addition to chapter activities, our USYers participate in inter-chapter, regional, and international USY events and conferences.

Kadima (Grades 6-8)

Each month during the school year, our 6-8th graders get together for exciting programs that include games, movies, sports, art projects, and holiday celebrations. Through quarterly membership meetings and regional involvement, our Kadima members have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and meet other Jewish youth from our area.

Machar (Grades 3-5)

Students in 3-5th grade can join Machar each month for activities that range from making a shofar, to bingo at the Hebrew Home, to a mid-winter pool party. Machar is a great way to get to know other Jewish kids outside of religious school.

Bonim (Grades K-2)

Bonim is a family-friendly introduction to Kehilat Shalom’s Youth Groups. Bonim members, grades K-2, meet every other month for social activities that lay the foundation for future youth group involvement.
